The room at Belmont Gem was absolutely amazing! The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was a real treat. As a young people, I love having options when it comes to my bathing preferences. It made me feel like I was on a luxurious vacation.

But, to be honest, the bathroom was a bit small for my liking. Others might still enjoy it, though.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, with elegant furnishings and a charming ambiance. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people like myself to navigate and relax.

Perhaps the children working there could have provided more assistance to ensure a smoother vacation for senior people.

Belmont Gem in Knaresborough provided excellent value for money with a comfortable and stylish cottage. The location was perfect, just a short walk from shops, pubs, cafes, and the train station. The house was clean, well-equipped, and had all the facilities needed for a lovely weekend. The complimentary breakfast and milk on arrival were a nice touch, and the note from the owner added a personal touch. The parking permit provided worked well once we figured it out, and the seating area outside was a bonus. a welcoming and cosy place to stay in a quiet area of town.
